Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of WhatCart, operated by BitTechs in Egypt (“WhatCart”, “we”, “us”). Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you accept them for a business, you confirm you are authorized to bind it.
2. The service
WhatCart gives merchants tools to manage products, stock, orders and WhatsApp conversations, record payments, prepare shipments with couriers, and related features.
3. Eligibility and accounts
- The service is for business use, and you must be at least 18.
- Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
- Keep your sign-in details and passkeys safe, and tell us at once about any unauthorized use.
- You are responsible for everything done in your account, including the actions of team members you invite.
4. Merchant responsibilities
- Comply with the WhatsApp Business Policy https://www.whatsapp.com/legal/business-policy the WhatsApp Commerce Policy https://www.whatsapp.com/legal/commerce-policy the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy https://business.whatsapp.com/policy and Meta’s terms.
- Get each buyer’s opt-in consent before sending them marketing messages, and honor opt-outs promptly.
- Sell only lawful products, and nothing prohibited by law or by the WhatsApp Commerce Policy.
- Show accurate prices and product information.
- Comply with the consumer protection laws that apply to your sales (for example, Egypt’s Consumer Protection Law No. 181 of 2018 for sales in Egypt) and with your tax obligations.
- Manage your own relationships with your buyers, couriers and payment providers: you, not WhatCart, are the party contracting with them.
- Tell your buyers how their data is used and obtain any consent the law requires.
5. WhatsApp fees
Meta charges WhatsApp message fees directly to your WhatsApp Business Account. WhatCart adds no fees on top.
6. Third-party services
The service relies on third parties such as Meta, payment providers and couriers. Their services are governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for their availability, performance or decisions, such as restricting a WhatsApp number or rejecting a message template.
7. Acceptable use
You must not:
- Send spam, unsolicited or misleading messages.
- Use the service for anything illegal or fraudulent.
- Try to break into, disrupt or reach other stores’ data through the service.
- Resell or reverse engineer the service without our written permission.
- Use the service in any way that puts the Meta platform or other users at risk.
8. Fees
The service is currently free during early access. If we introduce paid plans, we will announce them at least 30 days before any charge, and we will not charge you without your agreement.
9. Data and content ownership
You own your data and content (products, images, orders, customer data). You give us a limited license to process it only as needed to provide the service.
We own the service, its software, brand and design.

The Privacy Policy https://whatcart.net/privacy explains how we process data and forms part of these terms.
11. Suspension and termination
- You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing privacy@whatcart.net.
- We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms or Meta’s policies, or if your use puts the service, the Meta platform or others at risk. We give notice first where we reasonably can.
12. Effect of termination
Your access ends and WhatsApp is disconnected. Before deletion you can export the data the app offers (such as the catalog as CSV) or ask us for a copy. We then delete data as described in the Privacy Policy and the Data Deletion Instructions, except records the law requires us to keep.
13. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee it will run without interruption. We may add, change or remove features, and we give notice of changes that materially affect your use.
14. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, except those the law requires.
15. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability is limited to the greater of the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD 100. This does not limit any liability that cannot be limited by law.
16. Indemnity
You will indemnify us against claims and losses arising from your breach of these terms, the law or Meta’s policies, or from your products or your dealings with your buyers.
17. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the courts of Cairo have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
18. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms and post the update on this page with its date. For material changes we notify you before they take effect; continuing to use the service afterwards means you accept them.
